The elections are over.
The nation is set to move forward.
And CNN news is going to keep doing their honest best to smear Trump.
Except Trump, obviously feeling imbued with a sense of power in the wake of the historic Senate wins the GOP part secured, has decided to stick it to CNN.
Namely their all-star reporter Jim Acosta.
On Wednesday Trump fielded questions from various outlets.
Shortly after CNN’s Jim Acosta was given the microphone to question Trump he found himself without his press credentials.
Trump revoked them.
The answer is quite obvious, even if the details surrounding Acosta losing his credentials are mired in controversy.
President Trump and Acosta were involved in an intense exchange. When it was time for Acosta to relinquish the microphone to the female intern on duty he refused to give it to her. From there, a light wrestling for the microphone took place and the obviously miffed intern decided it would be better for Acosta to maintain possession of the microphone rather than risk creating a scene.
Trump saw that challenge to his authority as unacceptable; especially as he was trying to guide the questions towards those who are more in line with real journalism.
But that’s not the reason he revoked Acosta’s press credentials.
Instead, and this is the part that mystifies many, it was because Acosta laid his hands on the interns.
According to Sarah Sanders on Twitter: “We will … never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable,” said Sanders. “As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice.”
Acosta responded to Sander’s tweet and claimed the reasoning behind the suspension of his credentials was a lie.
And many others on the right and left agreed that Acosta shouldn’t have lost his privileges for that reason.
Watch the video and determine for yourself whether Trump overstepped his bounds or not.
