President Trump joins broadcaster in demanding all schools closed due to CCP Virus reopen

Educational establishments should not stay closed any longer because it is unnecessary, the president said.

The Oval Office has joined Fox News in ordering schools across the nation reopen, after many closed their doors until at least the end of the academic year due to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus pandemic.

“Schools in our country should be opened as soon as possible,” President Donald Trump said on Twitter.

The president believes children have the greatest chance of recovering from the deadly disease, since youth who become infected usually only suffer mild symptoms.

“[There is so] much very good information now available,” he said.

The remarks came after the host of “The Next Revolution” program, Steve Hilton urged the Department of Education to immediately allow teachers and students to return to the classroom. “There will not be a recovery unless we reopen schools now,” Hilton said in a video shared by Fox News. “Get on with it and reopen schools now before you do even more needless damage.”

Hilton blamed government restrictions for forcing parents to stay at home with their children instead of returning to the workplace and providing for their families. “If children cannot go to school parents cannot go to work,” he said.

Official data obtained by the broadcaster suggests school closures are only having a minimal impact on preventing the CCP Virus from spreading to children.

“We are told schools must be closed to keep kids safe but they are not in danger according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data,” Hilton said. “Children under 18 make up only 2 percent of cases and 0.6 percent of hospitalizations. Children under 14 make up 0.02 percent of deaths.”

He questioned the credibility of mainstream media reports of a new mysterious illness that affects young people, and also National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci’s decision to reject Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) advice to reopen schools.

“The media misinformation machine is fear mongering about a new mystery disease that affects children,” Hilton said. “But we are talking about a handful of cases, which are almost always treatable. How offensive to try to frighten parents about the safety of their children.”

He cited recent research from biopharmaceutical company deCODE genetics that debunked any suggestion that children could infect their parents.

“The more serious argument for school closures is that while children may not get sick themselves they can infect others, do they?” he said. “One study found even if children do get infected they are ‘less likely to transmit the disease to others than adults. We have not found a single instance of a child infecting parents.'”
