Sarah Sanders Dropped The Hammer On CNN’s Jim Acosta After What He Did To An Intern

CNN’s Jim Acosta is on the front lines of the network’s war on Donald Trump.

But now he’s in trouble.

He crossed the line with a White House staffer and now Sarah Sanders just dropped the hammer.

Donald Trump Shuts Down Jim Acosta

Jim Acosta made a spectacle of himself at Donald Trump’s press conference on Wednesday.

The CNN reporter heckled the President and bellowed questions with all the manners of a drunk sitting at the other end of a bar.

He shouted arguments about the caravan at Trump.

Trump answered his questions and tried to move on to other reporters,.

But Acosta thought it was his show.

Even though another reporter had the microphone and tried to ask a question, Acosta stood up and yelled more attacks at Trump about the Russia probe.

Trump had enough and shut down the fake news reporter.

He called out Acosta as a rude and terrible person.

“I tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person,” Trump said frustrated, “You shouldn’t be working for CNN. You are a very rude person. The way that you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible. And the way that you treat other people are horrible. You shouldn’t treat people that way.” Trump declared.

Trump supporters cheered.

To many Americans, Acosta is everything wrong with the fake news media.

He doesn’t ask questions to get answers that will inform the American people about the issues of the day.

Acosta shouts Democrat talking points designed to create confrontations that CNN can use for viral videos.

Jim Acosta Crosses The Line

But Acosta’s rude behavior was not the end of the story.

A White House intern tried to do her job while Acosta disgraced himself.

Trump called on another reporter and she tried to take the microphone away from Acosta and give it to NBC’s Pete Alexander.

A video appeared to show Acosta allegedly assaulting the intern by knocking her arm away.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders Responds

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to the alleged assault on the intern.

She stated Acosta’s behavior was unacceptable and banned him from the White House grounds.

Sanders tweeted:

President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern…

This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history.

Contrary to CNN’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters…

…over the course of 1.5 hours including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it‘s an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration

As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
