The lawyers representing the whistleblower in the Ukraine case do not confirm or deny the identity of their client, and what is officially known is that he is a CIA analyst who worked at the White House and is now working again at the CIA.
However, for RealClearInvestigations, the identity of the man is an open secret in Washington and his name could be Eric Ciaramella, as reported on Oct. 30.
Ciaramella, 33, received information about George Soros, the billionaire financier of leftist groups around the world, about his efforts in Ukraine and about Ukrainian politics.
Citizens United revealed that Ciaramella and former State Department Undersecretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, as well as other Obama administration foreign policy officials, were regularly briefed on Ukrainian policy and Soros’s activities.
The information was provided to them by Jeff Goldstein, senior policy analyst for Eurasia at the George Soros Open Society Foundation, as learned from emails obtained in 2018 through a FOIA request.
For Citizens United, the contents of the emails are “pretty devastating evidence of his involvement with the deep state,” wrote the Citizens United.
Nuland, who worked with Ciaramella, also received information on Ukraine from Christopher Steele, the author of the report used against President Trump in the investigation of the false collusion with Russia, also promoted by the Democrats.
It is clear that Soros had access to national security officials under the Obama administration in the case of Ukraine, as highlighted by Breitbart.
The emails also show that Soros talked to Johannes Hahn, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, so that he would intervene with the member countries of the European Union for the release of visas for Ukraine.
Hahn also took part with Nuland in the YES Summit, “the main platform for public diplomacy in Eastern Europe”, in 2015, which was also attended by Vadym Pozharskyi, adviser to the Burisma board.
Burisma is the Ukrainian gas company related to candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
When the Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States under the Obama administration, he intervened in Ukrainian political affairs and his son Hunter took a seat on the company’s board of directors, in addition to earning a salary of more than $50,000 a month.
Rand Paul (R-Ky.) believes that it is convenient to call Ciaramella to testify given his deep implication with the facts of the Ukraine Case.
“I think Eric Ciaramella needs to be pulled in for testimony, and then I think it will be ultimately determined at that point,” Paul said, adding, “But I think he is a person of interest in the sense that he was at the Ukraine desk when Joe Biden was there when Hunter Biden was working for the Ukrainian oligarch. So simply for that alone, I think he’s a material witness who needs to be brought in,” according to the Nov. 13 Washington Examiner.
