The fake news media, Democrats, and even many Republicans spent the last three years predicting the end for Donald Trump.
And every time they ended up with an egg on their face.
But the midterm elections changed everything, and you won’t believe who just said Donald Trump will be impeached.
Democrats picked up 40 seats in the House of Representatives on the way to winning back the majority for the first time in eight years.
Liberal voters turned out in record numbers, motivated by their sheer hatred of President Trump.
According to CNN’s exit polls, 77 percent of self-identified Democrats want Trump impeached.
Democrats – as well as many fake news journalists – still cannot accept the results of the 2016 elections.
So they believe they need to undo the results by any means necessary.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz spoke to this rage during a recent speech at George Washington University.
Cruz noted the insane levels of rage and anger that dominate the left today.
“Today is a deeply divided time. There’s an anger. There’s a rage that I think isn’t healthy,” Cruz stated. “I think it isn’t good for our country that the anger that we’re seeing — we saw it in this last election and we’ll see it in 2020 — that anger and rage tearing us apart corrodes our democracy.”
Critics believe much of this anger flows from the fake news media filling the newspapers and cable news channels with unhinged leftist activists who masquerade as journalists.
They stoke the left’s fury over the 2016 election results by promoting conspiracy theories and hoaxes that paint Trump as an illegitimate President.
Cruz pointed out that the left uncorked sentiments during the election that make it difficult to predict how Trump and a new Congress will co-exist.
“How it plays out in the next two years? I don’t know,” Cruz added. “We had an election where both sides were happy at some of the results. Democrats were hoping for a giant blue wave, some Republicans were hoping for a giant red wave, and we ended up with a little bit of both.”
“I think what that’s likely to yield for the next two years is a deeply divided and, sadly I fear, even paralyzed Congress,” said Cruz. “In the House, I think Democrats have unleashed some of the angriest voices on the left.”
But Cruz was certain of one thing.
He knows that Democrat voters elected a Democrat majority to take revenge on Donald Trump.
That means endless investigations and ultimately impeachment.
“I think we’re going to see two years of investigations of subpoenas, and we may well see impeachment,” Cruz predicted. “I think that anger and rage is going to have to burn out some more before we can come together and enact major legislative reforms like we should be doing.”
Democrats – led by Nancy Pelosi – tried to downplay any impeachment talk during the election.
But there is only so much party leaders can do to keep newly empowered committee chairs leashed and under control.
These attack dogs have up to 100 different investigations planned.
And the only reason to conduct that many probes is to dig up dirt they can use for impeachment.
